Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup milk (preferably whole)

4 large eggs

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

Powdered sugar, for serving

Fresh fruits (such as lemon wedges, berries, or sliced bananas), for topping

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place a 9x13-inch baking dish or a large cast-iron skillet in the oven to preheat along with it.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, eggs, melted butter, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Carefully remove the hot baking dish from the oven and pour in a tablespoon or two of melted butter to coat the bottom if desired. This step adds flavor and helps prevent sticking.

Pour the pancake batter into the hot baking dish. The batter should sizzle slightly as it hits the pan.

Immediately return the pan to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pancake is puffed up and golden brown on the edges.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute. The pancake will deflate slightly.

Dust with powdered sugar and serve with fresh fruits and a sprinkle of additional powdered sugar if desired. Enjoy warm!
