Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) of refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup cooked ground beef or turkey (seasoned with taco seasoning)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

¼ cup diced tomatoes (drained)

¼ cup sliced black olives (optional)

2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

1 egg (for egg wash)

Salsa and sour cream (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground meat, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, diced tomatoes, black olives, and cilantro. Stir until well mixed.

Unroll the crescent roll dough on a floured surface and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.

Take a spoonful of the taco mixture and place it at the wider end of each crescent triangle. Roll them up tightly, starting from the wide end to the narrow end.

Place the rolled taco sticks on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring there’s some space between each stick.

In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the taco sticks for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the taco sticks are golden brown and puffed up.

Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve the cheesy taco sticks with salsa and sour cream on the side.
