Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, chopped (grilled or rotisserie works great)

4 strips of bacon, cooked until crispy and crumbled

½ cup ranch dressing

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 large tomato, diced

½ red onion, thinly sliced

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 sub rolls or hoagie buns

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: sliced jalapeños for heat

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the chopped cooked chicken, crumbled bacon, and ranch dressing. Mix well until the chicken and bacon are evenly coated with the dressing.

Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning based on your preference.

Slice the sub rolls or hoagie buns in half lengthwise, leaving a hinge on one side.

Lightly toast the rolls in a toaster oven or on a skillet for a couple of minutes until they are golden brown.

On the bottom half of each roll, layer a generous amount of shredded lettuce followed by a portion of the chicken-bacon-ranch mixture.

Top with diced tomatoes, red onion slices, and shredded cheddar cheese. If desired, add jalapeño slices for an extra kick.

Place the top halves of the rolls on each sub, pressing down slightly to secure the fillings.

Serve immediately while the rolls are warm and ingredients are fresh.
