Ingredients

8 ounces penne pasta

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

1 medium onion, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 clove garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onion and green bell pepper, and sauté for about 5 minutes until they are tender and caramelized. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.

Cook the Steak: In the same skillet, push the vegetables to the side and add the sliced flank steak. Season with salt and pepper, then cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until browned.

Make the Sauce: Pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce into the skillet with the steak and vegetables. Stir to combine, then bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to medium-low and stir in the heavy cream, letting it simmer for about 3 minutes.

Combine: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat well with the creamy sauce. Stir in the provolone and Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and combined.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot, and enjoy your delicious Philly Cheese Steak Pasta!
