Ingredients

1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prep the Salmon: Start by cutting the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes, approximately 1-inch pieces. Pat the cubes dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

Season the Salmon: In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the salmon bites to the bowl and gently toss until they're evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.

Make the Hot Honey Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the hot honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice until well combined. Set aside half of the sauce for drizzling later.

Cook the Salmon Bites: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned salmon bites in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the salmon is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F).

Coat in Sauce: In the last minute of cooking, pour the hot honey sauce over the salmon bites in the skillet. Gently toss to coat the salmon evenly and let it cook for an additional minute to allow the sauce to caramelize slightly.

Serve: Remove the salmon bites from the skillet and transfer them to a serving plate. Drizzle the reserved hot honey sauce on top and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zing.
