Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni (about 24 slices)

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce for dipping

Cooking spray or parchment paper for baking

Instructions

Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). If using a baking sheet, line it with parchment paper or lightly spray with cooking spray.

Prepare the dough: Open the package of crescent roll dough. Unroll the dough and separate it into individual triangles along the perforated lines.

Assemble the rolls: On each triangle, place about a tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese at the wide end. Top with about 2 or 3 slices of pepperoni and a small pinch of Italian seasoning.

Roll them up: Starting at the wide end, carefully roll each triangle towards the pointed end, ensuring the filling stays inside. Place the rolled croissants seam side down on the baking sheet.

Egg wash: Brush the top of each croissant roll with the beaten egg to give them a shiny and golden finish as they bake.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the croissant rolls are golden brown and puffed.

Serve: Remove from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 25 minutes | Servings: 8 croissant rolls
