Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated croissant dough

8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into sticks

4 oz sliced pepperoni

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce, for dipping (optional)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Croissant Dough: Unroll the croissant dough on a clean surface and separate it into triangles according to the perforated lines.

Fill the Croissants: Place a mozzarella stick at the wide end of each croissant triangle. Top with 2-3 slices of pepperoni and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.

Roll Up the Croissants: Starting from the wide end, carefully roll the croissant dough towards the point, making sure to tuck the filling inside as you go. Seal the edges gently to keep the filling from spilling out.

Add Egg Wash: Place the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg to give them a golden color when baked.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and puffed up.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping. Enjoy your gooey, cheesy treat!
