1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1/2 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1 clove garlic, minced

1/4 cup onion, finely diced

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1 egg, beaten

4 whole wheat burger buns

Lettuce, tomato, and avocado for toppings

Olive oil for cooking

Instructions
 

In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, diced onion, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and the beaten egg. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

    Shape the mixture into four patties, ensuring they are evenly sized for uniform cooking.

      Preheat a skillet or grill over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.

        Once heated, add the chicken patties to the skillet. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until the patties are cooked through and have an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

          During the last minutes of cooking, you can toast the whole wheat burger buns on the grill or in the skillet until golden brown.

            Assemble the burgers: place a patty on the bottom half of each bun, and top with fresh lettuce, tomato slices, and avocado. Add the top half of the bun.

              Serve warm with a side of sweet potato fries or a fresh salad.
