White Cheddar & Spinach Chicken Burgers

Ingredients
  

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 egg, beaten

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil for grilling

Burger buns

Optional toppings: avocado slices, tomato, lettuce, and your favorite sauce

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

    Preheat your grill or frying pan over medium heat and lightly coat with olive oil.

      Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties.

        Cook the patties on the grill or pan for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and are golden brown.

          During the last minute of cooking, place your burger buns on the grill to toast them slightly.

            Assemble your burgers by placing the cooked chicken patties on the toasted buns. Add optional toppings such as avocado slices, tomato, lettuce, and your favorite sauce.
